Research context
Regenerative peptides are among the most extensively studied molecules in preclinical tissue-repair research. In rodent models, BPC-157 has been investigated for its influence on angiogenesis and tendon-to-bone healing, while TB-500 (thymosin β4) is examined for actin regulation and cell migration during wound closure. GHK-Cu, a copper-binding tripeptide, has been reported to modulate the expression of more than 4,000 human genes linked to skin and connective-tissue remodelling (Pickart & Margolina, 2018). All work in this area is strictly in vitro / in vivo laboratory research.

What is the difference between BPC-157 and TB-500?
The mechanism. BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protective sequence, studied mainly around the VEGF pathway and local tissue effects. TB-500 is a fragment of thymosin beta-4 acting through actin cytoskeleton regulation, hence more systemically. Robust human comparison studies do not exist.
Why are BPC-157 and TB-500 often combined in research?
Because the mechanisms complement each other: BPC-157 is studied for angiogenesis and fibroblast migration, TB-500 for actin dynamics and progenitor cell mobilisation. Complex musculoskeletal models in the literature therefore often use both.
Are BPC-157 and TB-500 approved for human use?
No. Neither is approved by the FDA or EMA, and both appear on the WADA list of substances banned in sport. All Molequa® products are sold strictly as reference substances for laboratory research (RUO).
How are these peptides stored?
Lyophilised at 2 to 8 °C protected from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water the research literature reports stability of about 28 days refrigerated.
